Davies (two IKnights defence). t— Davics's sealed inevo was a strong one, rand for a few moves it looked as if ■he was going to score a win, but he allowed Mason's queen to get behind his ipawns, threatening perpetual check, instead of forcing the exchange of queens iand winning with his . superior pawn tposition. - A draw was agreed upon. ; Griei-6on v.
