Next. Saturday afternoon, the Y.M.'G.A. hold their fifth annual carnival. The successful past carnivals held hy the Association Swimming Club is a guarantee that this event will be . patronised largely, and the fact of it being 'the first of swimming events to take place at Te Aro Baths since the. recent "improvements there should prove an additional attraction. Wellington's leading swimmers will compete. The sports will comprise a water-polo match and other interesting events, including an “Aquatic Boxing Contest,” “Battle -of the Dreadnoughts,” etc. Vitetta’s band will be iii attendance, and afternoon tea will be served free. The first race' starts at 2.30 p.m.
