FROCKS IN THE STREET
Several of the new “fishwife” dresses' have made their appearance. One worn yesterday was of silver-grey crystalline with elaborations of ' silver passementerie on the tight-fitting bodice. A grey-haired woman looked well in a navy suit, the long :coat handsomely braided in black and buttoned right up to tho ear on left side. Tho pleated skirt showed about six inches below the coat. A black plumed hat was worn with this.
A pretty actress wore a navy frock with a long coat. The skirt was very narrow and elaborately ornamented with buttons and braid. Her hat was a mushroom .shape laden with roses. Another striking frock was of seagrey cloth, tho high corselet skirt being worn with a pretty cream laoo blouse and a smart coat. The suit was eoutaohod with black, and a black hat was added.
