WEDDING

FORREST—SPRAGGON,

Yestcrday afternoon, at St. Peter’s Church, by tho Bov. G. P. Davys, Jliss Lillian Spraggon, daughter of Mrs Spraggon, of Abel Smith street, was married to Air Forrest, of North. Otago. Air Pratt acted as best man, and Mr Percy Spraggon, brother of the bride, gave her away;. Alias fepraggou wore a frock of white India muslin, finely tucked and trimmed, -with Valenciennes lace. The bodice was draped with a point lace scarf. Her embroidered veil was the work of her sister, and she wdre a wreath of orange blossoms, and ' carried a bouquet. Miss Marjorie Spraggon was bridesmaid, wearing a heliotrope muslin frock trimmed with silk of a deeper shade. Her mauve hat was trimmed with violets, and she carried a bouquet of violet flowers. The bridegroom’s gift to tho bridesmaid was a gold bangle studded with turquoises, and tho bride received a horse. A reception was held at the bnde s home after the ceremony. Airs Spraggon, mother of tho bride, woro a black silk frock and a black bonnet with touches of yellow. Aliss Spraggon was in black silk with a black hat wreathed with white roses and foliage. Aliss V. Spraggon wore white embroidered muslin and a biscuit chip hat with ! pale blue trimming. Air and Airs Forredt went South last night, tho latter wearing a brown tweed costume and hat bn suite. Their future home will be in AVaianakarua.
