PROPOSAL TO CHARTER VESSEL AT AUCKLAND. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright.MELBOURNE, January 5. Mr Murray, State Premier, has received a, cablegram from the AgentGeneral in London stating that the steamer Oaldergrove, now at Auckland, might undertake tho search' for the missing steamer Waxatah. The probable cost would be £2OOO per month. A definite decision is expected to be come to to-day.
