MITCHELL —McLEOD

At Kumeroa on Wednesday Miss Annie McLeod, eldest daughter of Mis McLeod,- of Kumeroa, was marned to Mr Jack Mitchell, son of Mr and Mrs W. Mitchell, of Hopelands. The Presbyterian minister, Mr Gardner, of Woodvillo, performed the ceremony. The brido wore a very pretty princess dress of crcpe-de-chine trimmed with silk lace and chiffon, and also the usual wreath and veil, and carried a shower bouquet composed peas, roses, and carnations She was attended by Miss Barbara McLeod and Miss M. Mitchell as_ bridesmaids, tbe former wearing a pale pmk and t latter a pale blue dress; also pretty white hats, and carrying bouquets ot pink flowers. On Now Year’s Day, at the Unitarian Church, Miss Marie Benner, second daughter of the late Captain Benner, was married to Mr Thomas Magill, only son of Mr YTagill, of Arthur street, Wellington. Tho Bey. Tudor Jones officiated. The .1.9 looked very charming in her beautiful gown of cream eolienno, and wore a veil and . the wreath of orange blossoms. Sho was attended by her youngest sister, Miss L. Benner, who woro a pale blue voile dress and a bat of crinoline straw trimmed with cream roses. On .Wednesday last, at St. Mark’s Church, Takapau, Amy Paget, fifth daughter of Mr Thomas Paget, of South Makaretu, was married to Mr A. E. De Lacey,, of Takapau. The Eev. White-Marten performed the ceremony. The bride was gowned in a semi-Empire frock of cream voile, with the usual veil and orange blossoms. She was given away, by her father and attended by Miss Clara Paget, in cream voile, and Miss E. De Lacey, in white embroidered muslin. Mr A. Ayres was best man. A reception was held at the Town Hall.
