DAIRY FACTORY BURNED
PBESS ASSOCIATION. GKBYMOTTTH, December 7. A fire occurred at 3 o'clock this raorniing in a factory recently erected 'for the Fresh Pood and Ice Company. The jbuilding was completely gutted, and most lof the machinery damaged to an extent .[sufficient to stop churning for several i weeks. No cause for the , outbreak is assigned. The fire originated in a store room. The manager and' two hands worked in_ the dairy till 9.30' p.m. yesterday, finishing up the churning, after which they washed their factory clothes. Arrangements have been mad© to send the cream to a neighbouring factory till repairs are effected. The building is ito be renewed at the close of the season. The insurance is .£I6OO in the Atlas j office on building and plant.
