It was alec asked that boots costing over 8s 6d « pair should be under a higher tarifl than those costing under 8e 6d. They combated the importers' proposal that slippers should be judged by the size of the heel. The Minister promised to consider the matter, but said there was no prospect oi ® revision o I thotwiff.
