FIRES
Mr Edward Sevan’s woolsbed, which was situated on his holding near Manakau, was burnt to the ground yesterday. The cause is not known, and insurances, if any,, are not available. The Messrs Sevan own much of the property in the vicinity of Manakau, ana control very extensive businesses in the Manawatu district. The burnt shed was probably one of a series of buildings on the estate of Mr Sevan situated about a mile from Manakau railway station.
