At a special meeting of tho Council 1 of the Now Zealand Bowling Association to-night it was decided that a sufficient number of players had not nominated for tho proposed North Island tour. While reluctant to disappoint those who had sent in their names, tho council did not think it would be warranted in proceeding further with tho matter this season, but it trusted tho proposal would be kept in vicvr for next (season. Following will represent Thomdon t. Wellington in a seven-rink contest at Wellington green on Saturday next:— M. Murdoch, Galvin, J. A. C. McEldowney, J. T.
