Sir Charles Lucas, who has been commissioned by the Colonial Office to visit Australasia and study the conditions in the various States, will reach Premantlo on March 30th and there confer with Admiral Sir Frederick Bedford, tho State Governor. He will spend April in Western Australia and South Australia, and during May will visit Victoria and NewSouth Wales. June will be occupied in going through Queensland and Tasmania, July being reserved for the visit to New Zealand. Sir Charles Lucas will return to London via Fiji and Vancouver.
