A SOLAR OBSERVATORY
SUGGESTED ESTABLISHMENT IN AUSTRALIA. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright, (Received: September 13, 4.30 p.m.) LONDON, September 12. Tho British Association for the Advancement of Science, which has been sitting at Dublin, has formed an influential committee to aid in establishing a solar observatory in Australia. Sir David Gill, late Astronomer at tie Cape of Good Hope, is chairman of the committee, and Mr W- G. Duffield, of Adelaide, secretary.
