By profession Mr Arthur Stenna-rd was a civil engineer, and he attributed his failure to the loss of .24000 in connection with "Winter’s Weekly,” the publication of which ceased many years ago. to stoppage of income through his wife’s serious and prolonged illness, and to his own ill-health. The bankrupt added that his wife, whoso affairs he managed, was at one period very successful, and for a time earned -21200 a year. . The only offence reported was the insufficiency of the bankrupt’s assets to pay 10s in the -21, and the discharge was suspended for two years.
