THE NAPIER TOURNEY. PRESS ASSOCIATION. NAPIER, September 11. Tho Napior Golf Club's championship meeting was continued to-day in beautiful wither. Playing: in thq men's championship in the morning, Kapi Taroha bent W. B. Colbeck, Kuril no Taroha heat K. B. Lusk, A. Barraud beat G. F. Thorburn, i;I. S Pearce beat J. S. Circuitt. In the afternoon Kurupo Taroha boat Kapi Taroha, 4 no and 3 to play, and A. Barraud boat E, S. Pearce, 7 up and 5 to play. / The Mon's Doubles Handicap was won by H. Hamilton and A. Sellar, with. H. '. Smith and O. Nolsoti second.

Tho ladies' tournament continued at Tronfchom yesterday. _ In. the/semi-finals of tho senior competition Mrs W. Laos defeated Mrs I*. C. Freoth, and Miss L. Brandon was awarded tho game against Miss Hannay on a mistaken ruling. Miss Hannay holed out, and her caddlo lifted her opponent's ball before sho could putt for half. In the play ofi Mrs Lees beat Miss L. Brandon 3 up and S 5 to play. In tho junior championship Miss N. Brandon beat Miss E. Bell and Miss Fulton Mies E. Simpson. In tho play-ott Miss Fulton won 3 up and 2 to 'Play. The match for tho captain's prizo is to bo played to-day. Wellington men meet the Hutt representatives at Trenthmn today.
