THE HOME OF COMPASSION
The final meeting: in connection with the Homo of Compassion foto was held yesterday afternoon. A large numbcx of stallholders were present. Mr M. Ross presented Mother Joseph with a cheque for the nctt proceeds of the fete. Tlia receipts had boon JES4S, and the expenditure £U, leaving .£5Ol available. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to Miss O'Connor, the hon. sec. Mother Joseph, in acknowledging, the fine result, spoke enthusiastically of the support she got from all classes and creeds. She heartily thanked all who had taken an activa Sart in the fete, and oil those hustnoss rms and people* who had assisted. Th« work of olrganisation was carried out bf Miss O'Connor and Mr J?. W. Crombie, joint hon. sees., Mr P. 3. Grace acting as treasurer.
