All the club? had good musters, and all the grounds at Day's I>iy and Miramar were occupied. It ia anticipated that this season will be a very successful one. The fate of the senior championship is more In doubt tfem it ha/g been for some ycUre past, although Karori and United will again fight out the final battle. All the clubs have a Airge number of young players enrolling, and competition will be very brisk in ..all grades.
