TWO TRAGEDIES

Two tragedies were reported at a late hour to-night. ■ In the one case a man was fatally stabbed during a quarrel aboard a steamer at Pyrmont. In the other a policeman shot a man dead at Alexandria (a suburb of Sydney, near Botany Bay). No details are available regarding either affair.
