Full details of the Easter train arrangement* on tho Government railways are advertised. Intending passengers should note that a number of the ordinary trains will not be running. Special arrangements have been made for the Tauhercnikau races, on tho 18th and 20th inst. There will be no goods traffic on Good Friday or Easter Monday. Forty good now and second-hand bicvcles will bo offered this afternoon at 2130 o'clock by Leyien, Shallcrass and Co. The machines will go to the highest bidder.

Entries for the higher theoretical examinations, including the art of teaching, to be held in July, close on Wednesday next at Bcgg’s, or with the general secretary, as announced elsewhere. The attention of intending Easter holiday excursionists is called to the Wanganui river steamer advertisement. Special cheap faros are to be run during the Easter holidays, return tickets, Wanganui to Pipiriki, being issued at single fare—lss. The tickets will be available from Good Friday to Easter Monday, for return up to one month. Steamers will run daily, Sundays excepted.
