SHORTAGE OF PETROL

The present scarcity of petrol is giving the Colonial Oil Company, the largest handlers of this oil in New Zealand, very, great concern, and during several months past the company lAis spent £2OOO in transhipping petrol to the Dominion without raising at all tho price of that article here. The steamer Orange Branch was to have left Sydney for Auckland some weeks -ago, but was delayed owing to strikes.
