.UNITED CLUB. The annual meeting of the United Hookey Club was held 'last evening at the Occidental Hotel, Mr W. J, Organ presiding.; : ' The rep'ort and balance-sheet (previoneIv published) were adopted. The following officers were elected President, Mr C. A. Richardson; viee-pteSidents, Messrs W. E. Bethnne, T. S. Eonaldson; c&p----1 tain, Mr W. E. Pearson: secretary, Mr G. | B. Exley; treasurer. Mr T. H. Hollis; committee, Messrs M, LuoKie, D. Organ, F. Ashbolt; delegates to association', Messrs Buckie and Exley; match committees; senior, Messrs Pearson, Ashbolt, Organ; junior, Messrs A. Pavitt, Clementson, f Hearno; third-class, Messrs Thynne, "Williams and C. Pavitt. , . , Mrs W, B. Pearson was elected a life member of the club as’ a mark of appreciation of the services rendered to I the club by her husband. It was decided to commence the season on Saturday afternoon with practice at Day’S Bay. ■ v ,' , A vote of thanks was passed to'Mr A. H. Hollis for the manner in _ which he had carried out the secretarial duties for the past six rears.
