Coal, No. I—Westport Coal Company for power-house. Coal (household)—Thompson Bros., Ltd. Timber (New Zealand) —Stewart and Co. Cement (imported)—Briscoe and Co., Ltd. Cement (colonial) —Divided between P. Hutson and Co. and Riley and Holmes. Chemicals —Kempthomo, Prosser and CoExplosives—W. M. Bannatyne and Co. Gravel—O. T. Smith.
