Thomas, of Ashburton, who was one of the New Zealand bowling team and died at the hospital, was suffering from diabetes. He is to be buried to-morrow at Ballarat. - At the tournament to-day the teams wore mourning bands. The New Zealanders and the Victorians are sending wreaths.
