The “New York World" says that in the wrestling match which resulted in Kaokcnsckmidt losing the world’s championship, Gotoh jammed his thumbs into Haokenschmidt’s eyes and punched his face, fetching bloo.d. Hockensohmidt repeatedly complained, but the referee declined to interfere. Haokcnschmidt states that Gotoli’s body was oiled. Gotch dug his fingernails into hie face and tried to pull,an ear off. The cabled account of tlie match, pub-lished-in yesterday’s "Times." states that Gotoh severely punished Hackenschmidt at Chicago during a two hours’ oatch-a»*eatch-can contest, and finally threw Hacksnsclimidt heavily. Though the referee disallowed the fall, Hackensonmidt refused to continue, thereby forfeiting the ■world’s championship* •
