THE AUSTRALIAN GAME. The City Football Club (Australian League) has elected the following officers for tho coming season;—Patron. Mr W. J. Gray; president, Mr C. Hume; vicenrosidents, Messrs A. W. McNiool. A. E. Staines, P. Woodrotfe, H. J. Baker, F. Nowson, Alex. Steele, G. W. S. Bell and Bloxhara: hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr J. G. Spotswood; management committee, Messrs Robinson, Finncane, Rankin, Thompson and Ashton; selection _ committee, Messrs Robinson, McWhao and tho captain: delegates to the league, Messrs Cromie. Finucane and Thompson. BOYS’ INSTITUTE.

The Boys Institute Club has appointed the following honorary members President, Dr Chappie; vice-presidents. Dr Newman, Dr McArthur. Messrs W. M. Hannay. C. S. Moore, C. Redgrave,' J. Sim. Mr Atkinson will act ns coach to the club.

CFrom Our Own Correspondent.) The annual meeting of the Puketoi Football union was hold on Saturday, March 28th. The balance-sheet, show* ing a credit balance of ,£3 9s 7d, waffl adopted. Tho following officers for tho ensuing year were elected;—Patron Mr P. O’Dowd; president, Mr L. Moore j vice-presidents, Messrs J. W. Murray. W. Newcombe and P. T. Pedersen: secretary. Mr George Haines: delegate to Bush Union. Mr Simpson. It was dc, cided that the subscription of clubs to the union bo JSI; that affiliated clubs be allowed to plav matches with each other: that delegates act as a protest committee. Tho meeting then proceeded to draw the fixtures for the first round of the banner competitions, which resulted as follows; —Rnfcaunui v. Maknri, at Raknunui, April 25th, referee Mr Geo, Haines: Pongaroa v. Makuri. at Maknri, May 9th. referee Mr G. W. Murray; Bakaunui v. Pongaroa. at Rakaunui, May 23rd. referee Mr C. Martin. ,|
