Wellington Centre of the NewZoa, "(The question of the travelling exwlses of Wellington members of. the New Zealand team for Australia ib to. stand over until their return. The Hutt Valley Club wrote regarding Gomo unpleasantness at the recent sporta at Lower Hutt, oomplamt being made that Mr Coffey interfered with the judging of the tug-of-war event. The club asked what Mr Coffey’s status was at the gathering.—Mr Coffey .explained that he attended tie sports on lie half of the centre, and to help the club, several of the officials being absent.—lt was decided to reply that Mr Coffey acted as a private member' of the centre, at the ro quest of the judge.
