DIVORCE CASES.
PRESS ASSOCIATION. • AUCKLAND, December 3. In the Divorce Court Mr Justice,Donniston granted decrees nisi in the following- cases: —Rose H. Horsfall v{, James Horsfall, on the grounds of misconduct and cruelty; Albert Ricketts v. Emma Ricketts, misconduct with 111011105 K. Sheldon, co-respondent: Emily Meyerv. John Meyer, desertion; Alfred Rhodes v. Esther Rhodes, misconduct with Arthur L. Winter, co-respondent; Danny' Emily Gooch v. Charles Augustus Gooch, desertion; Sydney Herbert Godfrey r, y Margaret H. Godfrey, misconduct with Henry Mills, co-respondent. Ellen Emma Anketell petitioned for a divorce from her husband, Charles Edi ward Anketell, on the ground of persistent cruelty and failure to maintain. Petitioner stated that ©he was married to. respondent in August, 1835, at Melbourne. They cam© to New Zealand six years ago; taking up their residence at Rotorua, where they lived together until November, 1902- She then left him on account of his drunkenness and cruelty. H© had been an habitual drunkard ever since 1897, and had treated her cruelly. After further evidence had been given, his Honor granted a decree nisi, to b© made absolute in three months, with costs against respondent. DIjjNEDiN, December 3. In the Divorce Court, in the. case of McCulloch v. McCulloch, husband's petition .on the ground of non-compliance with an older for tn© restitution of conjugal rights, a decree nisi was granted, to bo mad© absolute in three montns. In Kelly v. Kelly, wife's petition, a similar order was made, .both cases were undefended.
