AMATEUR ATHLETICS.
The committee of the Wellington Amateur Athletic Club met last night. It was decided to hold a euchre party at Cliff House, Island Bay, on the 13i:h December, and to present the challenge cups won during last season, Mr L. W. Cozens was elected secretary to the club, vice Mr Talbot resigned, Tho first evening meeting will be held on the Basin Reserve next Wednesday, when tho following events will be run: IDitvds junior, 120yds flat, on© mile walk, and SSOyds flat. Several new members were elected.
