FOUND DEAD
PRESS ASSOCIATION. NELSON, November 8. A man named John Barr Aitkin, a minor, of Punonga, was round drowned in a St. Vincent street gutter this morning. He was lying face downwards, with his hands in his pockets. In the vicinity were blood stains. There are no details yet available as to whether it is a case of suicide, accident, or foul play. The curious circumstance of the handr? being in the pockets has aroused suspicion. Deceased had been separated from his wife, who is at Millerton. A summons t was found on the dcceoised for disobeying a maintenance -order.
