The above Committee desire to bring under tho notice of the public the unfortunate mishap to Misa Lynn Mills, who filled a prominent part in the programme of the Musical Union’s Concert m December last—her first appearance before a New Zealand audience. On 2Gth January Miss Mills met with an accident which fractured her leg in five places, and as a result has since been confined to the New Plymouth Hospital, where sho still is, not yet having regained use of the limb. A grand benefit concert, tendered by prominent musicians of Wellington, will be given in the Town HaJl on MONDAY, 23rd September, when it is hoped that, the sympathy of the general public, a a also Miss Mills’s many friends and admirers, will result in a record attendance.
