pnras ASSOCIATION. CAMBRIDGE, January 20. The wife of Mr Drown. nctt-lcT, of Fcncourt road, liad both her legs and her right arm broken through a fall from a waggon. DDNEDIN, January 20. William F. Dunbar, a Univereity student, aged nineteen years, was drowned while bathing yesterday afternoon in tho Lower Harbur with two other students. Tho body was recovered. ASHBURTON, January 20. Yesterday afternoon an inquest was hold at Ashton on tho eight-months-old child of Mr John Hampton, farmer. Tho evidence (showed that while Itho mother was bathing tho child she fainted, and when she recovered consciousness she found the child drowned in the bath. A verdict of accidentally drowned was returned. INVERCARGILL, January 20. Henry Mann, who was kicked in tho abdomen T>y a trotting horse at tho Goto races, succumbed to tho injuries ho received. Sidney Brooker, 16 years of age. reaiding at Alfred street, met with a painful accident yesterday. He and two companions were rabbit shooting at Karon. Iteforo starting for home Brooker rat down, placing a gun beside him. A dog, belonging to'the party, tripned over the gun which wont ell. Brooker receiving the full charge in his right hand and shoulder. He was able to walk to the district hospital, where tie was admitted late last night.
