ATHLETICS.
At the Amateur Athletic Club’s carnival on the Basin Reserve next Saturday afternoon the New Zealand representatives in the Australasian championships will compete, among being Hector Burk, who defeated Alfred Shrubb over one mile. The entries for tho meeting are the largest ever received by the club.
