HUNGARIAN POLITICS.
QUESTION OF UNIVERSAL SUFFRAGE. (Received October 31, 0.50 p.m.) BUD A PESTH, October 31. The Liberals are dissatisfied with Baron Fejervary’s programme. They consider the introduction of universal suffrage dangerous, in rendering impassible a national policy on the basis of the Ausgleich (agreement) of 1867. The Liberals demand instead gradual extension of the franchise, based on property qualifications.
