ANOTHER TRAM-CAR WAIL.

FISH IN THE TEAM. (To the Editor "N.Z. Times.”) Sir,—lf we are taught to look askance at the devotees of My Lady Nicotine on our trams, surely one need not bo an exquisite to question the right of amateur fishermen to board the tram laden with their scaly spoil. Four such worthies, unlovely and unwashed, entered a crowded tram at Island Bay on Sunday afternoon, and to hurry over an unsavoury topic, I shall say that a polecat were eau-de-Cologne in comparison. To crown it all, one of the fish was wiped across a passenger's sleeve. Kindly insert this wail of mine with a view to protecting those of the public who are tempted out to Island Bay for a whiff of ozone. —I am, etc., JUNIUS. October 2Sth. _
