CRICKET.
The Senior Championship Committee met last night and decided that the senior match Gas Co. v. Newtown was to be played upon the Basin Reserve instead of upon the Athletic Park, owing to the unsatisfactory state of tho Park wicket. There will he no cricket played on tho College ground, and probably the Athletic Park will also be unfit to play on. The junior fixture St. Patrick's College v. Phoenix, which was set down for No. 3 Basin Reserve, has been transferred to Athletic Park. Players in third and fourth-class cricket matches are notified that tho Admiral will leave the Ferry Wharf for Miramar at 2.30 this afternoon, returning at 6.45.
