ANNUAL SUMMER COUNCIL. DELEGATUS APPOINTED. The following delegates have been appointed to the first anni.nl summer council of the Farmers’ Union, whjpb opens at Canterbury Hall. Christchurch, at 1.30 p.m. on Wednesday, November Pth :—Auckland provincial district, L. I!. Phillips, Woodhill; Poverty' Day, W. Douglas Lysnar, Gisborne; Hawke's Day, D. H. Potts Waipnkurau; Taranaki. James Bc-ddie, Eltham Wellington, W. Perry. Masterton.: Nelson, C. J. Ruffe 11, Wakapuaka: Marlborough, 1;. j. Bell, Blenheim: North Cnnterbury, J. A. Pannett, Greenpai-k; Otago, J. Clark, Clinton, and Donald Reid, Milton: Southland, John McQueen, Invercargill, and Norman. A. McLaren, Otautau. Wellington has to nominate two other delegates, and North and Booth Canterbury one each. The colonial president (Mr J. G. Wilson. Bulls), colonial vice-president (Mr 0, W. Loadley, Ashburton), and colonial secretary (Mr A. J. McCurdy) will bo present at Iho conference.
