ENGLISH CRICKET TEAM.
PROPOSED VISIT TO AUSTRALIA LONDON, October 24.
Mr Lacey, secretary of the Marylebone Club, in the course of an interview, said it was altogether premature to assert, that a Marylebdne team would visit Australia in 1906. The club was perfectly willing to negotiate with anybody, oven with tho Melbourne Club or a Sydney organisation, provided either was authorised to speak on all important questions relating to cricket. The day for taking out an English team as a private enterprise was past. Mr Jackson saj;s if a team goes it must ho under the Marylebdne Club.
