NEW LOAN AT PARIS
FIFTY MILLIONS TO! BE RAISED,
IS IT FOR RUSSIA? (Received October 25, 10.3 p.m.) PARIS, October 25. Details of the loan which is being issued by Paris bankers show that the total amount to be raised is £51,600,000. The rate of interest is to bo 4 per cent., at a minimum of 90. Twenty-six million pounds has been reserved for France, four million each for Britain and America, and tho remainder for Germany. Router’s agent reported on October 4th' that Paris bankers were considering tho iame of a loan of .£72,000,000. It was considered probable that the new loan was being raised on behalf of Russia.
