Tho TXon Mr Marshal 1 moved the* following new clause:—“ln the caw of any person not possessed of qualifications entitling him to registration under tho principal act, it shall bo lawful for tho Governor-in-Coujicir to place upon a separate register tho numo of any such person, provided lie gives proof that lie has passed through a due •course cf study at u recognised school medicine and surgery, and that ho has practised in a reputable manner as a medical practitioner in New Zealand during five yeans at least prior to the passing of this act, and such person when go registered shall have all tho rights of a registered medical practiMoner.” —Lost on the voices. Tho Hon Air Jcnkinson moved that n. diploma from the following Universities should entitle tho holder to registration:—Harvard,. Yale, St. Louis, New York, and Chicago.—Lost on the /oices.
