PRESS ASSOCIATION. REEFTON. August 14. It ia stated that a splendid reef has been struck at Boatman’s, ten miles from Reefton. The estimated yield is lOoz to tho ton. Tho claim is situate next to the Welcome mine, which was a great producer from 1874 to IS9O. 1 DUNEDIN, August 14. During the week ended to-day returns were reported from 54 dredges, the total yield being 16670 z Sdwt. Additional returns—Sailor’s Bend 250 z, Molyneux Hydraulic ISoz sdwt, Taniwha 17oz 17dwt, Garden Gully 14cz, Golden Run 130 oz, Otago No. 241 oz, Golden Treasure 960 z Otago No. 1 Sloz lOdwt, Golden Gate 360 z 9dwt, Molyneux Kohinoor 16oz.
