TROOPS MOVED SOUTH. FRONTIER- GARRISONS STRENGTHENED. (Received April 7, 10.8 p.ra.) CALCUTTA, April 7. The “Times of India” states that it has received authentic information that tho Russian troops have been replaced in Bokhara, at all posts on tho Upper Oxus (or Amu Darya) river, also in Roshan and fihugnan. Four thousand troops have been detached from Merv, and permanently added to tho Russian garrisons at Knskh and Murghah. Tli© deficiency at Merv has been filled from Orenburg.
