DAIRYING IN NEW ZEALAND.
A VISITOR’S IMPRESSIONS. SY r DNEY, December 30. Mr McKenzie, who. is interested in dairying pursuits, and who recently visited New Zealand, states that dairying in that colony is far ahead of the industry in New South Wales in point of management. The intense use made of land is more marked, and more care is shown in the selection of stock than here. Tho homesteads are also more comfortable. Land values in New Zealand, says Mr McKenzie, are much higher tliMi in the New South Wales coastal district, considering the quality of the land, but this, ho considers, is largely due to the demand of men seeking land. According to its value, a man has a very much better opportunity of getting what ho wants in a rainfall area in New South Wales than in New Zealand.
