TARANAKI REQUIREMENTS.
rBESS ASSOCIATION. , HAWERA, September 2. A public meeting, hold last night, passed resolutions affirming that the Opunak© railway line, if constructed, should junction with Normanby or between. Sformanby and Hawera; urging that a railway be constructed to Mount Egmont for road metal; advocating the establishment of a regular coach service' to Dawson Falls and Mountain House; and urging that a universal half-holiday would be unsuitable in the country districts. - v
