An ;xeeptionally good bidding was experirnced for all skins with good pelts, but tor inferior pelted stuff wo think prices wore easier. Wo quote:—Wool, crossbred fleece, dingy, ojd to CJd; pieces, 3d to ‘lid; dead, from 4.jd to od ; crutchings, 31(1 for inferior crutchings, to 5d for good. Sheepskins—Fine crossbred and merino, 7d; coarse and medium crossbred, Gd to 6:}d; lambs’, fkl to 7d; dead and inferior pelted, 3Jd to 63d; green skins from 4s to 6s 5d each.
