Constantinojile correspondent of “Tfio Times” states that in consequence of tho menacing attitude of tho Bulgarians, tho Turks have occupied three strategic positions in tho Kossovo, Mouastir, and Adrianople districts for a base of operations. THREATENING ATTITUDE OF THE BULGARIAN PREMIER, (Received July 3 10.13 p.m.) LONDON, July 3. In the course of a recent interview with tho Sofia correspondent of “The Times,” General Petroff, Premier of Bulgaria, complained of Turkey deliberately exterminating the -Macedonian Bulgarians. Ho expressed contempt for the inability of the Turkish army to mobilise under two months, and even then, ho said, it was incapable of rapid movement. General Potroff added that Bulgaria was able.to mobilise a quarter of a million men, the majority of whom would bo armed with Alannlichors, with five hundred rounds of ammunition per rifle and throe hundred shells per gun. Tho Premier said' he did not apprehend trouble on the side of Servia or Rouraania in the event of war. and expressed the opinion that Turkey had more to lose and less to gain than Bulgaria. The Cologne newspaper “Kqinische Zoitung” declares that Bulgaria is seeking excuses to revive tho Alacodonian question, and strongly warns her that sho will be isolated in the event of a struggle.
