MOTOR RACING.
LONDON, May 28. Mr Wyndham, Secretary for Ireland, has ordered the closing of the course in the Gordon Bennett motor-car road race in Ireland during the contest, excepting to participants. (Received May 29, 11.39 p.m.) LONDON, May 39. The Parisian Society for the Protection of Human Life on Highways has appealed to King Edward to prohibit the Gordon Bennett motor race.
