COLONEL LYNCH.
: (Received January 23, 11.30 p.m.) I LONDON, January 23. In the charge against Colonel Lynch, M.P. for Galway, of high treason, the case for tbo prosecution has closed. Defendant's counsel raised an intricate point regarding the technical interpretation of the British Naturalisation Act of ISTO. contending that it protected defondant from any criminality involved in tibo acts charged against him. The Judges (Lord Chief Justice Alvcrsiono and Justices Sir Alfred Wills and Sir A. Mosely Channel!) unanimously ov pr-ruled tho plea. ISvidonco was then submitted that Colonel Lynch went to South Africa as a war correspondent.
