ADMIRAL BEDFORD.

THE NEW GOVERNOR OF WEST AUSTRALIA. (Piccoived January 22, 10.35 p.m.) LONDON. January 22. Head-Admiral Sir Frederick Bedford tho newly-appointed Governor of West Australia, at tended a gathering at the Colonial Club. Mr H. B. Lefroy, Agent-General for tho State, said it was particularly appropriate that a distinguished sailor should represent tho King as Governor of West Australia.
