TRIAL OH A CHARGE OF HIGH TREASON. LONDON, January 21. Great interest is being taken in the trial of Colonel Arthur Lynch, ALP. for Galway, on tho charge cf high treason, which opened to-day, before Lord Chief Justice Alverstono and Justices Sir Alfred Wills and Sir A. Mosely Channell. Tho Court overruled the motion of Air H. E. A very to quash tho iadictm out on the ground that it disclosed no offence. Colonel Lynch pleaded not guilty, alleging that he was a naturalised citizen of tho Transvaal Republic.
