TWO SYDNEY SENSATIONS.

(Received Deoombor 27, 1.47 a.m.) SYDNEY, December 2(3. The holiday was marred by a sensav tional double tragedy. A man named Walsh, while strolling on tho cliffs at the South Head, fell 2ooft. A boat with four men from tho pilot steamer endeavoured to recover the remains. Duo of the man got ashore and attached a lino to Walsh’s body. In drawing it aboard tho boat capsized. Two occupants, David Port and Harry Sherwood, were drowned, and a third was washed on tho rocks and terribly bruised. With tho help of his companion already ashore, ho managed to seals tho cliffs. Nono of the bodies was recovered. Another drowning accident also occurred. A man named Fox, while bathing at Bronte, was caught in tho breakers in view of hundreds of spectators. Gallant attempts.were made to rescue him, but ho waa carried out to sea and drowned.
