Casey (scr), third. The sawing event went to Casey and Goold. The carriage and hackney classes elicited good competition. In tho class for roadster or hack up to lost, the first prize went to a strong-limbed gelding belonging to John Heslop. A. S. Tonks's grey was first in the class for roadster or gelding np to 12st. In tho class for ladies’ hacks, D. Noako’s' Magnet, ridden by Miss Noake, was adjudged first. A. Cameron’s Tho Dodger was first in the class for roadsters up to 13st, Of best-paced hacks, Heslop's Nuknhau was first, whilu Mitchell’s Sta.rliight was awarded first as walker. W. O. Williams’s Booties was first in the pony polo class. A gelding belonging to McDowie won first prize in the general utility class. T. Suiellio scored in the class for buggy horse drivfn by lady, and with the same-horse got first in tho class for 15.2 and over. In tho class for buggy horses not exceeding 15.2, F. K. Moore appropriated first, and Barraclough did likewise in buggy horse not exceeding 15 hands. Tho first prize for buggy pairs went to McGregor and Nicholas, and Donald Grout received first prize for a pair of buggy ponies. In the pony classes, Donald Grant, Jenkins and Miss Corrigan secured first awards. Tho leaping competitions were good In tho ladies’ class, Symos’s black Ivupora, a well-known competitor, was first. Ho was abiy handled by Miss Cameron. Bndgo and Gordon’s Cinders (piloted by Miss Mitchell) was second, and Miss Cameron’s grey third. Piper's Brunswick was first in the jumping competition in class up to 12st, and G. T. Bayly’s Rasper achieved a like distinction in wire jumping. Tho Lloyd-Lind-say competition went to tho Inglewood division cf tho Hawcra Mounted Rifles, tho Hawera division of tho same corps being second.
